Feng Kang
Pianist Feng Kang (康峯) has performed extensively throughout North America, China, and Taiwan. An award-winning international competitor, he has appeared as a soloist with the Taipei Symphony Orchestra and performed at Carnegie Hall in New York City. He regularly gives solo recitals and chamber music concerts and has served as a juror for piano and music competitions. He currently serves as Adjunct Professor of Music at Walla Walla University in Washington, Collaborative Pianist for the Department of Music at Whitman College, Visiting Principal Piano Artist with the Walla Walla Symphony Orchestra, and Visiting Artist for the Washington State Music Teachers Association (WSMTA).
Feng began his musical training at the age of ten and received comprehensive instruction in German, Russian, and American piano traditions. He was selected for the prestigious Music Talent Pool of the Taipei Symphony Orchestra. His competition honors include awards at the Elevato Piano Competition in Poland and the National Taiwan Music Competition.
