Formed in the summer of 2020, Vital Quartet brings together violinists Philip Payton and Orlando Wells, violist William Frampton, and cellist Alberto Parrini. All four artists are active on New York City’s performance scene and beyond. The Quartet’s repertoire bridges cornerstone works of the string quartet tradition with music by underrepresented composers and bold voices of our time, including Florence Price, William Grant Still, Trevor Weston, and Jessie Montgomery.
Doors open at 6 PM.
All works will be announced from the stage.
