About our Reserve Fund: Industry best practices for a nonprofit organization of our size without an endowment suggest that the organization maintain a reserve fund of 50% of Annual Operating Expenses. The Walla Walla Chamber Music Festival’s current reserve fund stands at approximately 43% of anticipated expense for the 2016/2017 season. Together, we have made incredible progress. We are almost there!

Beethoven wrote the inscription above on the cover page of his Große Fuge.

The idea of rigorous technique giving way to flights of fancy provided the inspiration for the 2016 season.

From the emotionally charged romanticism of Brahms’ B Major Trio to our annual Collage performance to Beethoven’s great fugue itself, the 2016 Season of WWCMF was sometimes learned, sometimes free, always fun.
